I’m always so touched to receive messages from you, and this one in particular sums up what many of you have expressed:

Dear Kim,
As someone who voted for you for "Design Star' back in 2007, and has since followed your career, I want you to know that the loss of your HGTV show "Myles of Style" continues to be a source of sadness (and anger!) for myself and all of your admirers. I shall never forget how you risked losing "Design Star" by doing an extra room for that West Virginia family. You are not only a brilliant interior designer, but also a fantastic human being. May God bless you and grant you other outlets for your talents. -Dennis

I mean....wow. SO beautiful! All I can say is, thank you. To you, Dennis, and to ALL of you. Your love, support (and long memories!) continue to astound and humble me. My connection to you is such a major blessing to me, and though we may never meet, your good wishes for my well-being are reciprocated a thousand-fold. Myles of Style was an amazing experience (and it’s now re-airing at 6:30am on Wednesday mornings), but I believe that things fall away in order to clear space for something new to flourish. My brand - and more importantly, my purpose - is growing and thriving with or without HGTV, and I will continue to encourage your creativity by sharing my own with you. The fact that you receive what I’m offering with open hearts is a huge gift, and my biggest thrill. Seriously, Thank You.

I agree, Kim! I often check in to see if you are doing anything new - I was so inspired by a home that you did on your show. It was beautiful golden yellow tones, and framed art, and natural fibers. A breath of fresh air! Thank you for all that you have done!

The "then" was in junior high and when you did theatre on the coast and when you STARRED on HGTV. The "now" is right now, seeing what a dandy woman you've become.

And yes, "clearing the space" is exactly right. Room for more good things, I know. xoA
